Romar SwarnerDrumroll please…. The NEW 2022 Camp Patriot shirt design is out!! We can’t wait to see everyone wearing it at the race. This year’s shirt design is dedicated to Romar Swarner and his family.
Romar was a proud Army Veteran. He was born and raised in Alaska in 1946. He was a Husband, Father of 4, Grandfather of 10, Great Grandfather of 1, Brother and Uncle. He died on October 21, 2021. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970. He was stationed in Korea in the DMZ and was an E5 Combat Engineer. He loved his family and his country. He always felt it was an honor to participate in the Military Honors at a Veteran’s funeral. He participated in hundreds of Veteran funerals. He was always there to present the Colors at the Camp Patriot 4th of July Fun Run. He always had a smile on his face and loved to have fun and most of all he loved to talk to people. Romar will be missed. Come and help honor Romar and many other veterans at this year’s race! Hope to see you July 4th!! |
